With a long view and second sight, some of us've been looking at this for six decades or more (considering input from those afoot during the Victorian Era, better than a Century), and making generational adjustments for a reversion to a Paleocene version of a Stone Age, and soon ("...one will be taken, and one will remain..."). You can't "fix" it (and not just Carbon) with the software.

I am not a scientist but very well-read on the subject and have been expecting catastrophic consequences for a while, except I really did not think they would come so fast (thought it more likely by 2030-2040 or with a bit of luck 2050). The situation we are walking into is terrifying. Thanks for raising the alarm, people need to wake up.

Dear Bill, I am planning tours to schools with your new book at hand, here in Nepal, to teach students about the climate crisis. Usually, books published in Europe or US get their low-price South Asian editions printed in India. It would be great if you ensured that for this book too.

In that case, we can encourage people to buy the printed version of the book, read them and keep them in libraries. I hope you will talk to the publishers to ensure that. Regards.

Bill, we cannot wait to sink our teeth into your new book, knowing already it will be another rollercoaster ride of climate reality, not Cli-Fi. Thank you for all you're doing to advocate for our planet.

Dear Bill, your earlier book 'The Guide to the End of the World' was eye-opening for me. I discovered it late but it is like a bible now for me when I have to convince others about the real risks that we face as humanity. I'll present chapter-to-chapter summary of your new book in my clubhouse room for hundreds of people. Just keep up your brilliant whistleblowing act at this time where lethargy and inertia is all pervasive.
